New Artwork Drop D’Angelo Soul Reimagined
And a memory of the soul we played at the shack

Some voices don’t just sing, they carve out space in the air around you.
D’Angelo is one of those voices.
At Kelly’s Art Shack, we’ve always had music playing in the background — not just for ambiance, but because it enhances the art and the artists. And back in the early days of the Shack, before we had walls filled with prints and shelves stocked with supplies, we had one speaker and one playlist that we played into the night. D’Angelo was always on it.
Whether it was the velvet grit of “Untitled (How Does It Feel)”, the honey-drip groove of “Lady”, or the raw funk of “Devil’s Pie”, his sound gave us rhythm while painting, sketching, arguing about color palettes, or just dreaming with open eyes, D’Angelo’s music made the walls of the Shack feel wider — deeper. It gave everything soul.
That memory, that sound, is what inspired our latest release:
🎨
“D’Angelo: Soul Reimagined” by JustChire
This brand-new 13x19 fine art print is more than a portrait — it’s a tribute.
Rendered in a punchy pop-art style, it’s vibrant, rhythmic, and unapologetically bold — just like D’Angelo’s music. Created using AI-assisted illustration techniques, JustChire reimagines the artist in radiant color: framed by symbols of soul — vinyl records, piano keys, and that iconic mic he never needed to shout into.
We hung the first print up in the Shack yesterday. It caught the light just right.
And as if on cue, someone pressed play on
“Brown Sugar.”
The vibe? Still perfect.
The soul? Still here.
Now available in the shop — 13x19 fine art print on premium paper.
Perfect for your studio, music nook, or wherever you keep your records and your roots.
Want to share your own memory tied to D’Angelo’s music?
Drop it in the comments or swing by the Shack — we’d love to hear it.
