Wall Mural Process | We Make it Easy

Working back and forth between the artist's and client's vision takes some time. Expect to go through a couple of versions of the planned mural before landing on the final product. Creating a timeline of when different parts of the process need to be complete is helpful for both parties. Also, each mural artist works differently with different materials--understanding how and why the artist creates can go a long way in making sure he or she is a good fit for the project.




CONVERSATION

Call or email us with a description of your project, including size and complexity of the artwork. Be sure to send any photo references and pictures of the space to be painted before the phone call. After an in-depth conversation either by phone or onsite, we put together an estimate for the project. 

PROPOSAL

Client will receive an email with a proposal that will to attempt to persuade the prospect to adopt the proposal's solution to creation of a Wall Mural. Cost of Project will also be included in the Proposal 

AGREEMENT & DEPOSIT

Full transparency is key and the agreement will insure to the client the services being offered by Kelly's Art Shack. Most agreements are accompanied by an invoice for 25% deposit of the total

PROJECT BEGINS

We will start with digital or paper sketches for the design. 3 rounds of revisions are allowed. Once the design is agreed upon by the client, the project will begin. Wall Mural projects can last anywhere from a few hours to over a month, depending on size and detail.

Murals come in many different sizes and styles and depend on each client's needs. A mural can be graphic and stylized or realistic as life. Most of our work falls in between within a range from $500 - $1500 on a typical 12ft X 8ft wall, or more for extreme detail. Price of paint and materials are factored into the total cost, as well as a travel fee for sites that are more than 60 miles away. Faces and buildings tend to take more time because they require a bit more precision, and there may be windows and doors and a tricky surface like brick or corrugated metal to consider.

    Yes. Our default deposit is 25% of the Total Cost

  • How Many Revisions to I get

    3 revisions from 5 mockups is normally more than enough for the artist to sketch exactly what the customer wants created

  • What Happens if I'm not satisfied

    Satisfaction is Guaranteed as long as it falls in line with the approved mockup

  • How long does a wall mural last

    Years, if the mural is outside, it may have a little wear and tear over the years. If the mural is inside away from rain, it will last for many, many, years.
